Synopsis

“To people in Bertie Wooster's set the influence of the headmaster extends far beyond Matriculation. The memory of his rage, his admonitions, and his eccentricities persists with clinging clarity. Fortunately he usually remains well out of his ex-pupils' way. But sometimes he makes a terrifying extra-mural reappearance and disrupts the gaily uninhibited life of his former pupils.”
