Synopsis

“Bertie (Ian Carmichael) meandering with a mazy motion, as somebody else puts it, and Jeeves (Dennis Price) with a voice like the silky plunge of a waterfall. Here also were Beryl Reid, shaking with laughter in a feather boa—she was once Uncle George's barmaid—and Uncle George himself (Max Adrian), croakingly gallant, if (as he said) with a liver like a soggy sponge. It was right that they should go off to a little celebration at the Cri.”
