“Jeeves and the Greasy Bird”

“Jeeves and the Greasy Bird” is the first episode of the final series of The World of Wooster, and was adapted by Richard Waring. It is considered lost.
Although all the short stories selected so far had been published pre-war, “Jeeves and the Greasy Bird” debuted in the pages of Playboy only two years previous to its adaptation. The episode was entered by the BBC in the 1968 Monte Carlo International Television Festival.
Synopsis
“So just watch how Bertie, never one to forsake a friend in trouble, gets himself up to the neck in it. Can it be because, for once, he spurns Jeeves's advice?”
An adaptation of “Jeeves and the Greasy Bird”. Sir Roderick Glossop's prospective bride refuses to marry while his daughter is still around. Bertie, now on friendlier terms with him, devises a convoluted plan to help him out involving a dishonest theatrical agent and his performing daughter.
